Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 29, 2026

At Ukuuku, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any personal data we collect. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Ukuuku iOS Application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

To provide chord training features and an ad-supported experience, the App and its third-party SDKs may process the following categories of data:

🔒 Privacy First: All of your ukulele practice history, switch test scores, and custom song data remain strictly on your local device or synced securely to your personal, private iCloud account. We do not maintain an external server database of your training sessions and cannot access your synced data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

3. Third-Party Services and Tracking

Our app integrates Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Remote Config, and Firebase Crashlytics. These SDKs may collect or process device identifiers, product interaction, advertising data, coarse location, performance data, crash data, and other diagnostic data according to their own privacy disclosures.

Advertising SDKs may contact tracking domains including:

If you opt out of tracking via the iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, iOS does not provide your IDFA to the App for cross-app tracking. Ads may still be served using contextual, limited, or non-personalized signals.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your practice progress, saved songbooks, and scores are stored locally in your device's sandbox, we do not have access to delete or modify this data. If you wish to delete all local progress data, you can do so at any time by uninstalling the App from your device. If you have synced your data to iCloud, you can manage or delete your synced app data at any time through your iOS device settings under Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage > Ukuuku.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App is designed to help anyone learn the ukulele. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at the address below so we can take immediate action.
