Terms of Use (EULA)
Welcome to Gibber. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Gibber iOS Application (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA").
1. App Description & Educational Scope
Gibber is a beginner-friendly guitar chord trainer designed to build fretboard muscle memory, teach chord shapes, and support transition practice. It is intended for educational purposes as an introductory training tool and does not guarantee specific musical proficiency or replace real guitar instruction.
2. Chord Passes & Monetization Model
The App offers optional ad-supported and paid features, including:
- Practice Passes / Chord Passes: Access to specific chords or tools can be unlocked for temporary durations (e.g., 7 days) by watching rewarded advertisements or completing in-app actions.
- Retention of Progress: Upon the expiration of any temporary pass, your saved training progress, statistics, streaks, and custom song data are **not deleted**. They remain saved on your device and will be accessible when you reactivate the pass or unlock the feature again.
- Paid Upgrades: Permanent unlocks (such as ad removal or unlimited songbook access) are processed securely through the Apple App Store billing platform.
3. User-Generated Content & Privacy
You may create and save custom chord roadmaps or song templates within the App. All user-created song data is stored strictly on your local device. We do not claim ownership of your custom song roadmaps, nor do we store them on our servers. You are solely responsible for backing up your local application data.
4. Copyright Safety & Fair Use
The App does not ship with pre-loaded, copyrighted lyric or chord databases for popular songs. You must manually enter chord structures for your practice routines. You agree not to enter or store infringing materials inside the App in violation of third-party intellectual property rights.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App.
6. Governing Law & Contact
